Today is the 9th of July, Friday . I realized that there is only 3 weeks left before our moto travel to Piter. And we still haven't discussed anything about our plans, who is taking part in this, what is our root, where do we stop and etc. Today I go to Kaga - it is a small village in Ural Mountains, in Beloretsk district. I will write about this place a bit later. On the next week I start to plan our run: collecting information about interesting places, contacts with bike clubs (for searching sleeping places and technikal support). Also we need to settle the date of departure. Also we still dont't know the list of participants. We want to stop in many cities on our root: Kazan, Nizhniy Novgorod, then some places of the Golden Ring and then Piter. I plan to spend there about 5-7 days. After that I want to keep on going to Karelia (Solovetskie Ostrova). I guess there I will go Either alone or with Lesha Noga if he decide to go with us. As it would be to hard to go there on chopper.

Grushinskiy Festival

This weekend we visited Grushinskiy Festival, that took place near Tolyatti city. That was really cool time, we listened the live music, hanged around, chat with other people. Also we visited AVP meeting, on which Anton Krotov (founder of this community) answered the most asked questions amongst beginners in hitch-hiking. On the Saturday night we went to the mountain where Gala concert took place. The best musicians and poets gathered there and had about 10 minutes each to represent their best songs and lyrics. The view from this mountain was really fascinating. Here is how it looked:

My first note
So, as some time before, I decided to try to write so to say an INTERNET diary. I don't know exactly what it is for, but the war will show the plan. Most of the time I will write it in English, not to loose my skill. But I also plan to create one more blog in Russian and will write there while traveling somewhere, so that my relatives and friends can read it with no problem.
So today I spent about 4 hours surfing and looking for good place for uploading my pictures. I stopped on Picasa service, as it looks pretty easy to upload pictures there. Also I like the slide show mode there. I decided to decline using Julbum, as this program has too many bags. Also I can't upload pictures without this program, so for example, while traveling in India, I cant't show my new pictures as long as I don't have a laptop with this program. So in Picasa I can upload pictures right through Internet. It also has a program, using which I can upload pictures easily right through computer. I can't test it on my work, as Proxy server blocks any program, which demands Internet connection. After testing it a couple of weeks, I will create an account for my parents, so they will upload their own pictures. It is an excellent idea, as this winter I plan to go far from my home. That would be really cool, if I could see some pics of my relatives while being so far.
And one more thing, if someone would like to read this blog, please be tolerant about my possible mistakes in English. I haven't practiced it for long time. Last summer I traveled in Middle East, but there are not many people who speak English well.
